My MPhil in palaeontology at UNSW takes me to the two sites in Queensland:
- Floraville – (red dot) where the large extinct diprotodontid I am studying was discovered in 2011.
- Riversleigh World Heritage Area (blue dot) is the main palaeontological site that the UNSW works on, and is Australia’s most famous mammal fossil site and one of the top 10 fossil sites in the world.
