We had our briefings each morning during this trip. This was followed up in the evenings with a review of the day’s activities to plan the next day’s activities (Figure 14).

Troy was given the task of coordinating the activities on his one page schedule (Figure 15), which continually changed to accommodate new data. The evening planning session was followed by dinner with desserts catered by the friendly staff at the Adels Grove Camping Park.

One of the highlights for other visitors to Adels Grove is the series of after dinner talks (Figure 16) with questions and answer sessions provided by the Riversleigh excavation team. Robin Beck, David Cohen, Rick Arena, Karen Black, Kenny Travouillon and Phil Creaser each gave a talk, and Mike gave several talks. In some talks there were over 150 people in the audience. Some visitors keep coming back to Adels Grove each year to listen to the talks by the excavation group.
